What is Missions?

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.  - Acts 1:8

Missions are at the core of who we are at Royersford Church of the Nazarene. We believe Jesus calls us to live out and share God’s love—both in our own community and across the world.

Globally, we partner with the Church of the Nazarene worldwide, supporting missionaries who bring the Gospel, provide education, care for the sick, and strengthen communities.

Locally, we serve right here at home—demonstrating God’s love in tangible ways to those in Royersford and the surrounding areas.

Missions aren’t just something we do—they are part of our identity as followers of Christ.

Missions Moments

  • Care and Connection (LINKS Mission family)

Our regional missionaries Peter and Jenny Isaac are from Papua New Guinea with the Church of the Nazarene, to the island nation of Vanuatu.

Peter and Jenny both had previously been teaching at the Melanesia Bible College in PNG. They received their missionary call in 2000,and were assigned to  the country of Vanuatu in 2006. Peter is an ordained elder and is currently serving as District Superintendent for this pioneer work. They have three sons, Bennett, Ennrich, and Junior. They have a Facebook page. The website is below.  May we continue to lift up our Missionary family, as they continue to share the love of Jesus with the people of Papua New Guinea.

  • Alabaster

In the church of the Nazarene "Alabaster"  refers to an international building fund that collect sacrificial offerings to purchase land and construct ministry buildings worldwide, including churches, Bible colleges, missionary homes, clinics. as well as emergency Relief. Churches collect Alabaster twice a year in February and September however, donations accepted throughout the year.

  • Crisis Care Kits: Your Compassion in Action

When disaster strikes your generosity equips local churches to partner with Nazarene Compassionate Ministries to meet the urgent needs of those affected from a storm, earthquake, or other natural disasters. Your support helps churches respond quickly by essential hygiene kits called Crisis Care Kits. Churches collect and assemble kits. Once packed these kits are stored locally, ready to deploy in a moments notice. For a list of items needed, please call the church office.
